Cities with an ISC2-listed centre

These are the Indian centres Pearson VUE's locator returned for ISC2 exams when we searched from several cities on 28 October 2026. All are Pearson Professional Centers.

The locator carries its own warning: some ISC2 exams need special arrangements and may not be offered at every centre it lists. The list you see when you schedule the CISSP from your ISC2 account is the one that counts.

Where we found no centre

• Kolkata and the east. A search from Kolkata returned centres in Dhaka and Nepal as the nearest, with no Indian centre among them. An ISC2 community thread reported the same gap. If you live in the east, plan for travel to another city.
• Kerala. A search from Bengaluru showed no centre in Kerala; the nearest options for Kochi or Thiruvananthapuram are Bengaluru and Chennai.
• Central India. From Nagpur, the nearest listed centre was Hyderabad.
• Jaipur. No centre appeared in Rajasthan, though an ISC2 chapter is being chartered there.

If you live far from a centre, book a morning slot and travel the day before. The exam lasts up to 3 hours, and you do not want a delayed train eating into your arrival buffer.

How to check and book

1. Search the locator first. Open Pearson VUE's ISC2 test-centre locator, search your city, and note the two or three nearest centres.
2. Buy the exam in your ISC2 account. Add the CISSP exam to your cart; a voucher, if you have one, goes in at checkout.
3. Schedule from "Courses and Exams". Fill in the exam account form, then Pearson VUE's site opens to pick a centre and slot.
4. Match your name to your ID exactly. ISC2 warns that a mismatch means you cannot test and are not refunded.
5. Book early before 15 April 2027. The outline changes that day, and slots before it are likely to fill. See what changes in 2027.

Security rules from June 2026

From June 2026 the ISC2 exam agreement bans phones, recording devices and any other electronics, and Pearson has added screening at centres. You may be checked with infrared and metal-detection wands designed to find small cameras. Leave smart watches, earbuds and fitness bands at home or in the locker, and allow extra time at check-in. ISC2 also asks candidates to report any "proxy test service" that contacts them. Anyone offering to sit the exam for you, or selling remembered questions, is offering something that breaches the ISC2 NDA, so never engage.

Planning the day around the centre

• Visit the route once. Bengaluru's centres are central; Mumbai's is in Andheri East; Pune's is in Kharadi on the east side; Delhi NCR has three, so pick the one on your side.
• Eat before you go. Breaks come out of your exam clock, so a proper meal beforehand matters.
• Know the format before you arrive. Adaptive testing has no back button and can end anywhere from 100 to 150 questions. Rehearse it in the CAT simulator so the early finish or the long run does not unsettle you. The rules are explained in how CISSP CAT works.
